Hi,

I am in charge of the Classic Dungeons & Dragons (i.e. Basic, Expert, Companion, etc.) section of the archives. It is ironic in that I never actually played Classic D&D - at least, not after acquiring my first Holmes set and then moving on to AD&D.

But, such is the way of things. Wink

Anyway, though the Archive pages are largely complete, I still need information. My first priority is I need complete info (scans, credits, page count, etc) on the following items:

DMR1 Dungeon Master Screen
Diablo II Adventure Game
Diablo II Fast Play Game
AC10 Book of Wondrous Inventions
AC11 Bestiary of Dragons and Giants
The Goblin's Lair

I also need credit info for the following:

Free Fast Play Rules
Wrath of the Minotaur
Hollow World (several items)
GAZ14 The Atruaghin Clans
Sword & the Shield
CM7 The Tree of Life
CM9 Legacy of Blood

If you can help, feel free to post here, email me or post on the Research Forums (which would be ideal).

Oh, about the Research Forums - all my archive pages are linked to the forums so new info can be added by any user (such as print runs, scans, etc.). However, due to time constraints, most of these threads just say "placeholder" - I am working on that! Very Happy Ideally, they will contain pics, a summary of info and a link to the archive page.

And for the future? I plan on creating a "Foreign Edition" page - but right now, I only have a few contributions for some of the UK basic books . . . Feel free to post away if you can help (I'll create a sub-forum for Foreign items).

Oh, and last but not least . . . can someone please donate a scan of a Jade Hare with cover. Very Happy

Anybody . . . anybody at all . . . Razz

Hi Paul,

Cool site! You'll have to dig through my stacks for some of that stuff. I know I've got at least a few of those items and a scanner to boot!

I have all of that (maybe with the exception of the DM screen), if you don't get anything from now till the weekend, I see about getting you that info Friday/Saturday.

May have to be reminded though :)

I've seen your basement - there's so much stuff it might take me days to find just a few books! Razz

Seriously - thanks! Now that the site is in the open, you might find me rooting around attempting to borrow an item or nine! Cool

Thanks for the Scans of the DMR1 Mars!

I split the post off and put it in the D&D Accessories page.

Quick question on Red Arrow, Black Shield: The cover page of the booklet has the Interior Artist listed as . . . no one! They seem to have accidentally left it blank. Flipping through I can see that it is Easley and Truman.

Just out of curiosity . . . does anyone have an X10 that does list the Interior Artist or are they all blank?

Mine is blank.

Also you have a full list of what you need info/scans on from before (is it all Hollow World items).

K..shall pull those items today, may get the scans/info later on or if not then by tomorrow. Want the info posted here or just lump a new thread in a folder in another section for you to distribute how you want?

Shane, you can just post the info here. Don't worry about the scans as I actually have pics of all the items as I had several copies over the years . . . only I didn't have current copies to get the credit info from (other the the Author, of course).

So that should save you time.

They are all here, in this latest compendium from the Game Wizard's lair: The Book of Wondrous Inventions!
The Book of Wondrous Inventions is useable with both the D&D® and the AD&D® game systems. Each invention is clearly outlined, including function, form, and hazards of use. Statistics and spell details are presented in a manner compatible with both game systems. Adventure scenario suggestions are given, as well as design instructions for characters who wish to build duplicate device.
As an added bonus, a section is included which details a system for creating spells and magical items. This will prove especially useful to players and DMs who use the D&D® game system; the detailed information is also of help to AD&D® game players.

…"They're only goblins," Bryn boasted when he took on this quest. "They can't possibly hurt a seasoned adventurer!" As the flame flickered out on his torch and the low chuckles of battle-hungry goblins came out of the shadows, Bryn and his exhausted companions began to feel icy fear replace their bluster…

Enjoy hours of fun and excitement with this latest entry-level supplement for the Dungeons & Dragons® game! The Goblin's Lair Adventure Pack allows players to play mighty heroes and heroines banding together against the crafty goblin armies!

The excitement begins now!
For 2 or more players ages 11 and up.

The goblins are threatening helpless farmers and settlers and it's up to the players' heroes to stop the tribes of the Red Hand from conquering Thunder Rift! Enter the three deadly dungeons within the box and face deadly wolves and other evil allies of the goblins in their lairs.
Goblin's Lair also provides players with a quick and easy to learn mini-game that has the heroes hunting the cunning goblin-king! Using all of the maps and fold-up figures in the box, this game will keep players guessing what excitement and dangers lurk behind every corner.
________________________________________________________________________
The numbering is correct for this box set..2 items have the same item # codes and the rest do not have any codes.

Have everything Diablo except the two you are looking for..and Free Fast Play Rules and Wrath of the Minotaur I should have but may need to find.
