I'd like to make this thread as the central organization point for the TSR Research Forums. Kynan, Paul, Ralf, and Mike have done a fantastic amount of work in organizing the titles to the TSR Research forum. And many have already contributed incredible amounts of effort to get them filled out to the point they are now. But you can be sure it is incomplete even in its enormity. We continue to need the help and input of visitors.

I am making this thread a sticky, but it is open to comments, suggestions, corrections, and ADDITIONS to the forum. If you need a new publisher added, etc., by all means let us know here and an administrator will add it as soon as we get around to it.

I have added a comprehensive list of TSR periodicals titles to that portion of the TSR Research Forum.

I added entries for the AD&D Fighting Wheel and Forgotten Realms Newsletter aka Secrets of the Sages

It should also be noted here that TSR Novels have been given their own Research master forum within the TSR Research Forum AND many TSR Periodicals have been given their own forums within the TSR Research Forum - TSR Periodicals area.

Any ideas where I should locate Talaran: Land of Challenge AD&D PBM Game?

Here are scans of Front and Back.

If Entertainment Concepts is the publisher, then it should go under them.

ECI is the publisher but the copyright is held by TSR. I think that TSR commissioned the item from ECI since ECI had other PBM games.

Here it is now in ECI Talaran: Land of Challenge.

It's one of those weird items that defies definition due to cross-pollination. It looks like a TSR product, acts like a TSR product, has Harold Johnson involved in it. But it mentions ECI as the publisher. I think it is fine there for now.

There isn't any doubt. ECI published it, so it gets located there. There are literally hundreds of items on this site where the publisher differs from the copyright holder. That's why we have the copyright line in the entry.

I think what separates this item from other items with differing copyright holder and publisher is that there is a TSR Licensed thread which lists items that are specifically copyright TSR but published by a different company.

I am fine with putting it in either place but it should probably eventually be linked to both places.

Your Personal Invitation to Adventure has been added. I am not sure where to file this. Also, I'd like to create an entry for the Games Workshop flyer that we spoke of in this general forum last fall. I assume it would go to a similar place as Your Personal Invitation to Adventure.

I added 5 of the 6 Australian prints of D and G series. I am missing G3 if anyone has that one.

I also added coverless Jade Hare within Curt's awesome covered-printing thread.

G3 should already be in the G3 thread.

Ah, I see. You mean under the international thread. Mine are posted under the AD&D thread.

Aha! more hi-jinx in the RF!! Laughing Do me a favor and copy your G3 to the Australian forum and we'll call it a day. Wink

They didn't come up under the search function. I was sure to add the word aussie within my musings so that they would come up easier in the search feature.

Guys, I just noticed there was a St Regis thread in the TSR area. I already posted the Quadrille Graph set in the D&D accessory forum. Which area do you think is more appropriate for this item? I'll move it wherever you want me to locate it.

Keep in mind, Mike. Those Quadrille are marked as Dungeons and Dragons rather than AD&D. Couldn't it get any hairier? d'oh!

TSR didn't publish it, so try St. Regis. Everything under the TSR Research Forums should be published by TSR. The thread TSR Licensed is the only one that can have non-TSR in it. All of the other non-TSR TSR gaming material is in the other forums.
