My first thought on this is that it relates to a UK comic strip that was done in serial form in the 80's .. The whole "terran Empire" thing rings a bell.. not sure that it is related to rpg's...

I've also added a couple of mags/zine..

Queensland Wargamer
Vision

Brette:)

I agree with you on Eagle Star. Won't add that to the list until I can confirm something.

Also added those other two titles to the RF

Should "Hex-o-gram" be added to the list?

At least one issue has some early D&D stuff:

http://tomeoftreasures.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2894&start=26

It also looks as if some other issues: #39, 48, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 62, and 75 have D&D content.

Here is a magazine index:

The single issue I have (#53 from October 1976) mentions Diplomacy and included a Dip variant, but mentions no RPGs (other than in the advertisements. On the first page is an advert from Games Centre mentioning a few titles from 'TSR Games' (sic) including Blackmoor, Boot Hill, Chainmail, Dungeon, Dungeons & Dragons, Eldritch Wizardry, Empire of the Petal Throne and Greyhawk) and an advert from Games Designer Workshop that mentioned their swashbuckling RPG En Garde!).

There was mention in the colophon that G&P was also available on microfilm, so some enterprising person may be able to track down the past gaming articles mentioned previously in a large public or comprehensive university library in the UK.

There are a few titles mentioned in Imagine but not here, such as Lankhmar Star Daily. I just discovered your great site. Do you ever post full scans of fanzines? I collect electronically, not hard copies. I have only a few so far, Punk '21, Dagon and some RQ stuff (Like Codex and RQ Adventures). I have quite a few of the more readily available, mainstream stuff like Tradetalk, Autoduel Quarterly, Amberzine etc. but I would really like some of the older, more amateur stuff.

Thanks again.

Hi there,

This research forum is user-driven. Of course, we would love any entries.

Go here and give the guidelines area an eyeball. If you need other titles added, please go on ahead. I don't think there is a delineation for electronic zines. Maybe there should be.
