Some Reilly items in this seller's store.

This is Gary Reilly of Reilly Associates. One of his stores in Rochester was called Adventures and Hobbies but it closed a number of years ago then he showed up on Ebay.

Were you able to secure a full set of Reilly items through him?

No unfortuneately not. I think he still has a fair number of Enchanted Treasures, Dungeon Trap Handbook and Journey to the Cloud Castle. I have seen a couple of the Traveller items sold as well:

but that is about it. Crazy Egor also has several copies of each issue of Variant magazine too.

Maze-of-Zayene-1-4-Modules

He has amassed quite a few of these. Enough to impress even Mike Kuo! Its interesting to look back through NKG's feedback to see the various prices they have sold for. Hang in there and they can be had for $20-25.

Patience is a wonderful commodity in this game. There's a collector or two on ebay whose collections are worth less than what they paid for them. There's almost always another one. I've turned my attention toward fanzines of late, especially large runs or complete sets as it saves me a bundle of time. I'll have the summer off, so I'll be able to add more things again en masse.

Zargos-Lords-International-Team-1980-RPG-Game

Seems like an odd item to me. Wonder if it is more of a boardgame? No mention in Heroic Worlds (that I could find)

I grabbed another 2 sets of these from NK for $23 each. If you are looking for a set, place a bid around $25 and if you don't win, you will most likely get a 2nd chance offer for that price.

Well, of late I've gotten Polyhedron 1-24, Interplay 1-8, Games 1-14, and Imagine 1-30. I know it's a small start, but a person has to begin somewhere. I got the Games magazines because I was curious to see if roleplaying/wargaming is mentioned at all. I can't for runs of rarer material, though.

Hmm. Sounds like you have about 650 titles more to go, Kynan. Wink

I used to have a ton of Games magazines, since my late grandmother used to buy them, work on some of it, then give them to me. I don't think I have them anymore (probably lost in a move) and can't recall any TSR related stuff (course I don't believe I was involved with D&D much back then so who knows).

I wouldn't expect D&D to be in there, but who knows. Wargaming and role-playing take second fiddle to things like Monopoly or checkers. The simple cardgame/boardgame has ruled the gaming world for decades. Wargames and role-playing games are more complex, and so appeal to a smaller audience. I'm very curious, though, to look at the advertisements. The mags I have coming cover the end of '77, and all of '78 and '79--the years TSR found its formula. 1977-82 are my favorite TSR years, marked by creativity and innovation.
