Battle for wargamers (Magazine) April 1978 (D&D-article)

there's an article by steve jackson (games workshop) about the holmes d&d-set - AND an article about fantasy wargaming by charles grant. grant mentions two rpg games (d&d, of course) and THE EMERALD TABLET - what the heck is that? i've never heard of it, but it seems to be one of two rpgs worth mentioning for the british market in 1978?

It is somewhat uncommon but will eventually show up on Ebay if you are looking for a copy.

Interestingly enough, looking at this entry, I see that they also produced 1776 - a book included with this auction:
