This issue mentions this issue marks the "beginning of IFW's 7th year in wargaming".

Most interesting in this issue is the article titled CHAINMAIL ADDITIONS by Gary Gygax. Included below is the scan of introduction to the rules additions article for research purposes. Clearly the shift is toward the fantastical of Wizardry as "FANTASY SUPPLEMENT" portion of the article. Amongst this article of mostly combat rules modifications there are no mention of grotesque monsters at this point, but added are "classes of persons endowed with magical ability". These being.....
Wizzard (spelling in IW); as shown on the combat table, 6 spells/game
Sorcerer; -1 on the combat table, 5 spells/game
Warlock; -2 on the combat table, 4 spells/game
Magician; -3 on the combat table, 3 spells/game
