Scribe's Musings: One thing that caught my eye and got me thinking was the appearance of some popular D&D game mechanics in some of these wargame articles. The word 'morale' as a mechanic stood out in this issue. You have to believe some of the more successful aspects of RPGing were hashed out in the earlier wargame offerings. Especially when you consider the founding fathers of TSR, D&D, and RPGing were involved in the development of wargaming within the context of IFW.
