The distribution conditions for that T&T item sound somewhat similar to Daystar West. Both in a remote area of the country not known for early rpg production. You would think there might be some out there. I don't follow T&T that much so I am not certain. Is there an image of it published somewhere? _________________

Yep, sixty sounds right and I was underbidder on the 1-4/5(?) bundle first time around. Quite possibly on the resale, too...
It might be easier to list fanzines that are not in the "5 and under known" category.
One reason why "mainstream" 'zines/company publications such as Space Gamer #1, pre-Flying Buffalo Supernova, O&W, Strategic Preview (other than #3 or 5? *g*), TSR-UK Hobby Newsletter, Domesday Book (other than #13?), etc., are probably worth a slightly higher positioning when it comes to such listings, IMHO.

The first 60 were sold by Ken (not all locally?), the remaining 40 were sold by Flying Buffalo at Origins.

While we are talking fanzines, has anyone seen a copy of Abyss #1 (or #1, 2, 3 for that matter)? There are so many fanzines that seem to have published many issues but are ridiculously hard to find. I'm also still trying to track down the first few issues of First Encounter for my Canadian collection.
I am guessing my rarest fanzines are issues 3 and 4 of The Wizard put out by Lenard Lakofka. I got them from Tim Kask as a bonus when I bought Dungeon of King Lout. Anyone have any issues of this? Issue 3 has stuff by Lakofka and Gygax. Issue 4 has stuff by Lakofka and W. John Wheeler (from The Companions). It also has a miniatures battle for a castle siege that was played on August 20, 1977 at GenCon X.

Right there with you on that one, my friend.
So far things here are, overwhelmingly, quite "expensive", despite the fact that the krone is strong and that's the form my income takes at present. The cost of living has really cut into my collecting, unfortunately.
On the other hand, it's rather nice to be in a civilized country for a change, even though it's finally dawned on me just how inconvienent those "U.S. only" auctions are... _________________ Let mirth prevail!

Not here, sorry. Back in the day very few non-UK fanzines made it into our distribution channels.

Possibly also worth a bit of a nudge up the list owing to editor/content, even if not quite "mainstream"?
Tom's 'zine is presumably of that ilk, too, despite no mention of Len?
LOL. Well, I can say that I've never heard of it. Perhaps it was on hiatus while I was on campus from '87-91??
Interestingly, however, on of the PCs one of my brothers ran was named Frohf, so I'll have to see if he was aware of the zine or not, since it looks phonetically similar! _________________ grodog
