It's by far the best condition I've ever seen for a woodie. So even if it's way too high for me, I can more or less understand.

Imagine the potential of a 1st printing in the same condition!

Oh, for that auction I'd stand up any time in the night (just to watch of course).

I'm always surprised to see bidders, like that dazbaby, going straight from $4 auctions to $1600 auctions... (I admit I didn't browse through all his puraches, though, only the last ones)

This is a near 1st printing. It has already nearly reached the $1,000 mark. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5231538463

Would have made a great bet.

And it is still the most expensive "regular" items, still topping ST1 and everything else!

$4.039!!! shocked shocked shocked shocked

Paul's woodgrain breaks all records. And totally unexpected the winner is red_bus. What a high-profile auction. Over 1.000 visits. That is an auction to save on your hard disk and view it from time to time.

The first bidders with bids over $3.000 probably expeteced a clear win. And I don't want to know how many snipes failed to register ...

What did you guys think about the Greyhawk Woody I had up on the Acaeum? I call it that because RJK on PiedPiper says he remembered sending them out with box/Greyhawk orders. If you haven't seen it, it's a third Woody with a 2nd Greyhawk with Greyhawk Reference Sheets included.
