The date for this item is a bit confusing. The title page carries a 1974 copyright date while the front cover shows 1975. The Customer Reply card reports, "Fantasy fans will flip over the wild role-playing games like Monsters! Monsters! and our Fall '77 release, Labyrinth. . . .the first second-generation fantasy role-playing game. The various dates could be a function of multiple printings or different printing houses since several companies would have covers printed at one place and the contents somewhere else. The presence of the reply card suggests that it was added at a later date to old stock. More info is need here.
