I can't believe it. That's almost 10 times what it has been worth in the past. I don't even track them. If it was the T1st PH, then I could understand.

I don't think it's real.

tfm: I saw the mention of the recent 2nd woody that Steven won (and just outbid me on, alas!) @ http://www.tomeoftreasures.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1210 and wanted to see how/why it's described as poor/fair? The lot sounded to get in better shape than that to me, but I also didn't see any pics of the actual item/etc., so I thought I'd pick your brain Very Happy

Sure. First of all, I prefer to be safely conservative with regards to condition. But specifically, the corners of the box being broken and the missing sheet. I always downgrade severely for missing contents. The poor-fair was my attempt at the range of condition.

But, again, it is an opinion. There are others who will be more optimistic and a few who will be more severe. As with all things, it's in the eye of the beholder. If you thought it was in better condition, please add your thoughts to that thread. The opinions of one person should never become codified. We welcome multiple points of view here. Perhaps others will join in the conversation, which is almost always a good and healthy thing.

My opinion's meaningless, since I didn't win the thing (the pics weren't the actual item). I'll ask Steven to drop in, though, and hopefully he can shed some good light on the purchase Very Happy

http://www.acaeum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6778 has links to the pics of Steven's 2nd woody we were discussing above.

For those of you who are looking, there are a lot of aces on ebay at the moment:

I just picked up one of those for $10 from Crazy Egor's store. If you ever get up to Rochester, its worthing stopping in. I dropped $350+ while I was there.
