I am glad you got your money back, but still, too bad. Wonder what the heck will happen to the first print now.

And yes, Paypal has gotten much better in my opinion. For the record, I think some people trying to pull scams forget that ebay/paypal can look at their correspondence and keep track of the frequency of chargebacks etc. Most of the bad eggs don't just smell bad... Ebay and Paypal often know if they are honest or not based upon their own words and actions.

I spoke with an agent from the FBI yesterday. It was an education to say the least. If you guys want to bust this choadsmoker, two things have to happen:

1. The holders of the violated copyrights have to declare that they have incurred a loss;

2. The loss has to exceed $30,000.

If the copyright holders can do this, the feds will go after him. Otherwise, he can operate with impunity or until someone sues him in civil court for damages. Since ebay refunded my money, I have not suffered a loss and have no cause to file a police report.

I left the conversation with the impression that crime is the biggest industry in the United States. The feds are not interested in small potatoes, but they will do something if the magic number is reached. I would suggest that someone organize those who have been screwed. It's very likely that the total fraud exceeds $30K, but those copyright holders will have to prove it to make it a criminal matter at the federal level.

Interesting. Civil suits are always an option as well for those who have been swindled or had their rights violated.
