In Volume Two the sheet containing pages 23/24 and 33/34 was omitted during assembly.

Was privately published by Gygax, Reese, and Tucker and referred to as GRT by those who played it.

According to the original owner, this is how the set was purchased new, in the faux brown cloth, flip-top box. The box is marked inside by its manufacturer, FOLDA-KING, Brooklyn, New York. The cover of Volume One is lighter and made from textured paper whereas the other two are not. Volume One contains no product list for Guidon Games or a publication address. Volume Two has no copyright date or illustration credits. This release clearly follows the one above.

====================

Axel picked up this set of Tractics. It's the same as version listed above with the flip-top box, except that the cover sheet is present and the errata sheets are not. It stands to reason that this was probably the first release of Tractics from Tactical Studies Rules; that is, between the Guidon black boxes that Gygax took with him when he left Guidon Games and when Gygax's own brown boxes bearing the updated Tactical Studies Rules labels and information. Several TSR sets of Tractics have been found with Guidon books in them. There must have point at TSR when the leftover Guidon black boxes and the new woodgrain brown boxes were not available. The presence of a brown flip-top box accounts for this moment.
