I was spurred on to join this forum after seeing a TMP thread concerning these rules. We used to play them way back in the '70s and had some good fun. I'm curious to know whether the rules are readily available or have become a rare collectors' item. For nostalgia's sake I'd like to see a copy of them again.

They are a collectible now, usually fetching $50 give or take the interest. I actually have some of the original minis which are really hard to find. Thane usually comes up a couple of times a year on ebay. I'd check there or maybe try Noble Knight.

I have a copy of 'Heroes' by Dave Millward, published by Tabletop games in 1979. Is this a rare item now? And I might still have one or two of Barry Minot figures from his Barbarians range.

'Heroes' is easier to find than Thane Tostig. I wouldn't know about the minis.

I think Thane Tosig is a bit rarer than that. I can only recall every seeing about 3 or 4 copies pass through Ebay so probably 1 copy every year or two.

Heroes is comparatively more common with 2-4 copies showing up every year.

Although completeness seems to be an issues with both items. Heroes is often missing the map and loose reference sheet and Thane Tosig I believe also has some pullout charts stapled into the middle of the book (will have to double check when I find where I put it).
