My boxed set which looks the same as the initial post here contains the redish/brown colour rulesbook. Do you think this book was also sold separately?

I'd be curious to know which one came first since they are both copyright 1981. My box also has a product number on the side of 2006-X.

Ralf, what colour is the side of the box and the map inside?

My copy has red box sides and the map is a browish colour. Not uncommon for Chaosium to change the colour of the books and map - this was also done for the Thieves World box set.

I also see that a later print of Stormbringer (1985) the box cover is the same but it has black box sides and different back. There is also two rules books.
