The IFW Constitutition and Ratification Drive (uncredited)
The Geneva Convention (uncredited)
Regional Plan, Membership List and Current Rating (uncredited)
Election ’68 (uncredited)

Inky’s inklings:

This unusual instance of the IFW’s monthly magazine reflects the continuing indecision about its name. The November 1968 issue of the Avalon Hill General (v5n4) notes the name change (and the issue they received has the same page count as this one), suggesting perhaps that this issue was the only to bear this title. As Pritchard says on the cover, “If you don’t like the title of the ‘zine, remember that it is only temporary.”

Internal reproduction quality is abysmal. Editor Pritchard attributes this to the inexperience and light touch of typist Len Lakofka, who is barred from any further responsibilities in this department. Even for spirit duplication, it really stands out for its unreadability. See the back scan for an indication. Also note damage on the front and back where staples needed to be removed in order to open the newsletter.

The IFW recently executed a merge with the wargaming club Boldland, nearly doubling its size as a consequence. The former leadership of Boldland, however, sought to retain certain powers and in the execution of their dubious authority, provoked the strongly-worded letter signed by the entirety of the IFW leadership.

The report on GenCon I occupies nearly three full pages and provides a level of detail I have not seen elsewhere on attendees and events. A very valuable historical document.
