In addition to the regular gaming materials, this set also had an Iron Crown product list, a feedback card, and the original I.C.E. sales receipt dated 09/29/81. The additional interior images are provided to distinguish this print from others. Unless a bagged version or an demonstrably earlier boxed set appears, this is a first print. The easiest way to check is to look at the rear cover of "Of Mentalism." The first print does not have the copyright information listed above the Seer Base Lists.

There are several indicators that suggest this print is a second or later print than the one listed above. Several of the interior art images have changed. A few are provided here for comparison purposes, but there are further examples. Many of these images are also found in the blue box version of Spell Law, further suggesting that this is not a first printing. The "Of Channeling" booklet is lighter in color than in the above example.

Even though the Spell Law rules booklet still carries the 1981 copyright date, the box indicates a date of 1982. The Channeling booklet is now more blue. This printing features the line "25th-50th level spells are on pg. #," which occurs at the bottom of some spell charts, in a new, smaller type. This example is from the Rolemaster boxed set, 1982.

Even though the Spell Law rules booklet still carries the 1981 copyright date, the box indicates a date of 1983. The booklet paper is now glossy, and the colors are different. Not credited, the cover artist is Gail McIntosh. "Printed by Kaminer & Thomson, Inc., Charlottesville, VA" no longer appears on the title page. Pages 22-23 have been reformatted, and the sample spell chart has been removed. Several of the interior drawings have now been removed.

Differing from the print above, this example now bears the 1200 stock number on both the upper, right-hand corner and on the rear cover. The products list has also changed. Channeling spell pages remain blue.
