I thought I added my added Fazzlewood to the forums, but I can't seem to find it. Where would you guys like to see it? Under Wintercon VII, D&D Tourney, or MDG?

I am guessing it would have no credits for you to ask here. I think these were produced by Metro Detroit Gamers for sale at the conventions. Are there any clues in the MDG programs regarding who printed these?

I would probably put it under MDG and if you want, put a link to it in WinterCon.

I am guessing that this version wasn't actually used - probably just some photocopied sheets were used? Then the following year this version was sold?

I would be curious to hear the full background story on it. Like, how it came to be published by TSR later. Was it originally submitted to TSR before it was played at WinterCon? Remember, TSR previewed other modules at Conventions before they actually published them in earnest for sale.

Does anyone know why there is discrepancy between the one listed here:

http://www.tomeoftreasures.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3292

and here:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Quest-For-the-Fazzlewood-Tournament-Module-1st-Print_W0QQitemZ290135593591QQihZ019QQcategoryZ2545QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

The page count is different.

I don't know exactly how many differences there are between the two. I only noticed the # of pages and what could be a difference in coloration of the covers. But possibly that is the scan color. To be honest, there was a bit of a hubbub about this at the Acaeum some time ago. I didn't follow it at all to find out what was decided.

I am pretty sure the dungeon was offered up for sale 2 different years. I wouldn't quote me on this before I can do the research. Perhaps someone else can confirm? There could have been two different printings for this purpose.

I haven't visited the Acaeum forums in a very long time. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Laughing

Two of the pages are one sided, so it's possible to eliminate one of them. It makes no sense at all that the one listed on ebay is a first print. People don't make more work for themselves for a second print unless it's a deluxe edition. I can see why some might be suspicious about it.

I think the discussion on the Acaeum was about price and where they came from. I recall that T&T bought a couple of copies from the same person who has been selling of the NM ones (one or two a year) for the past few years. I forget the sellers name but I think they had 6 or more copies stored away. I thought the other copies that the seller sold matched the 13 page description.

The one listed here matches my copy as well - 13 pages.
