Scribe's Musings:

There is some mention in this issue that there are too many articles submitted for the IFW to publish in the monthly. This might explain why they produced a Winter and Spring additional publication entitled International Wargamer to go along with the IFW Monthly.

The article of interest in this issue to me is Gygax's preview to Ancient and Medieval Miniatures. This is a proposal to produce a game and present it in a series of articles published in a number of following issues. This series could be considered formative work towards the eventual development of Chainmail rules. I have included the article for research purposes.
