Contents: Rulebook - 22pg, 8.5" by 11", paper, stapled, 3-hole punched, dated 6/73; Counters - seven sheets of 240 half inch counters each(two Europa Sheet 1, one Europa Sheet 2, three Europa Sheet 3 and one Europa Sheet 4) plus one half-sheet of 112 counters(Europa Sheet 5) for a total of 1792 counters; five 21" by 27" cardstock maps sheets with 16cm hexes(Europa 1-5); Charts - twelve charts and tables, 8.5" by 11", cardstock and paper of different bond; Errata Sheet - 2 sheets of paper stapled to rear of 3 page designers' notes and dated 20 August, 1973; Ads - two paper, 8.5" by 11"; Cover - cardstock folder

Comment: This is the first printing, sent in a plain, brown box. Please see attached history of GDW's Europa series. Second printing differs in minor ways - Designers' notes are smaller typeset on a single page, front and back, 3-hole punched; Rules are 20pg and dated 1/75; only ten Charts with paper ones being 3-hole punched; one Errata Sheet dated 6 June, 1975; no ads; shipped in ziplock bag; and map folded terrain side out as compared to terrain in for the first print.
